The Curse of Chiron... and Eating Humble (Mag)Pie

Here dear Father Saturn.... I must confess of a henious sin I have committed...... I have sorely let down the Magpies and not pick them against the Tigers to win. I confess, I must have more confidence in them Magpies and not be swayed by just one singlematch. I from now on will try harder in picking the Magpies on their merits.

What penance dear Father Saturn must I perform to atone for this henious sin.....

-You must pick the Weevils to win the next match.

Oh dear Father Saturn, that is a most burdonsome task. I cannot possibly bring myself to pick the Weevils, even regardless of their win against the Giants. I despise the Weevils so much, it would utterly torment my very soul to pick the Weevils. Are there any alternative penance dear Father Saturn?

-Hmmmm...... OK my son, how about picking the Magpies for the next five matches regardless of their oppositions and their previous performances.

Uhhhh..... I suppose that may be doable.....

-Or.... don't use your Weevils voodoo dolls for the next five matches.

Well... um.... they didn't appear to work at all on this occasion against the Giants!!

-Or perhaps pick the Bombers for the next five matches...

Umm... yeah..... not a good start I agree, but I suppose they ALMOST beat the Saints.... Almost.....

Oh wouldn't you know it..... the next Magpie match is against the Weevils at the MCG..... Haaaaa...... No brainer!!!!!!!!! I shouldn't need my Weevils voodoo dolls then!!!!!

Meanwhile the curse of Chiron continues, managing to pick only a dismal four winners in the 1st Round last week. I was not game to check my rankings in my particular competition, it is certain to be very low. I suppose with Chiron now in my 2nd House, the curse of Chiron would be set to continue...... I stopped winning prize monies when Chiron entered my 1st House in 2011, the year of Mothers death........

I haven't gotten my results from this round, them email notifications does take a while, and I forget who I picked, only that I didn't pick the Weevils nor the Magpies so that would be at least two misses out of a possible nine.

So who else is playing next week aside from them Maggies against the Weevils at the MCG?.... Hmmm..... battle of the wooden spoon with the Bombers against the Demons, yeah will go for the Bombers on this occasion. The Cats should have some Crows for dinner. Hopefully the Swans won't get the case of the Blues given neither of them are yet to win, and well unless there is a draw, at least one of them will enjoy a first time win. The Tigers may be in for a Giant headache especially in the Land of the Giants. The Power to inflict a first Lion defeat, well only because I had bad experiences with Leos and I need Power to overcome the torment of the Leo woman!! The Bulldogs, well they kinda like being in the Sun don't they, so they should enjoy their day in the Sun. The Hawks to swoop on those hapless Kangaroos. And the Dockers are going to need Divine help to beat the Saints even here in the West.

Now with my pesky ruling planet Mercury now direct in my Ascendant sign, and Goddess Venus entering my Ascendant sign, my 1st House bringing her magic to the occasion..... and with that Uranus in my 3rd House..... I decided to really stick my neck out abd book a spot at the Cosmic Consciousness event  at Uluru in January 2020 - year NEXT year!!!!! Just a few months from now!!! Oh yes, to see what kind of weirdness I am getting myself into, and to prove that there are plenty of others who are as weird as I am, here is the link to the event......

Cosmic Consciousness

Once you get to the website, click on "Programme" button and you see what I mean by weirdness.... and topics very close to my heart!!!.... and why I simply MUST attend!!!!! Topics about ETs and things pertaining to Gaia's energies. And yes those "Milky Way Contact Skywatch" really IS what the name implies...... watching the skies for ET crafts (UFOs), but not just passively watching for them but actually sending messages for them (telepathy, meditation, etc) and waiting for them to appear and show that it is them and not just satellites, etc, by doing things that satellites does not do, such as, changing speeds, directions, colors at will when we tell them, etc. I have been to these sessions before when they were held in Perth, and they DO work, those ET crafts really DO appear. Sometimes we even see the ETs in person, but that is more of a rare occurence though I have also experienced that!!!

So anyway I am now booked for a spot at the Conference, meeting up with people as weird as I am!!! So next task is to book my very expensive flights to Uluru. And of course being in the most isolated city on Earth there are no direct flights to Uluru. We have to first fly all the way to Sydney, then change planes and fly to Uluru. It is like going to the USA..... and I must add, the air tickets to the USE is CHEAPER than the air tickets to Uluru!! No wonder we travel overseas all the time, it is cheaper to travel overseas than it is within Australia. However, being a frequent world traveller, it happens I have enough Frequent Fliers points to pay for the return air tickets to Uluru. So I used my Frequent Fliers points, hence practically gaining free flights to and from Uluru.

This is very much a good thing to gain free flights via my points, cos the lodgings there at Uluru is very expensive. The room rate for motels at Uluru is at least TWICE the room rate of a similar class hotel at Rock Hill in South Carolina - even when allowing for the fact that we get "discount" room rates because of attending the Conference. OK true enough that January is peak tourism season at Uluru, nevertheless, Australia is a very expensive country compared to the USA and most other places on the planet, hence why I usually go overseas!!!!

So why go to Uluru in the middle of peak season to attend a Conference??.... where I could have gone to Arizona, Hawaii, Mt Shasta, or Glastonbury for less than half the price?? Well because I am CALLED to Uluru, and it has been on my mind to attend this Conference for some time. They hold the Conference each year at Uluru. And Uluru is a major vortex, one of the seven major "chakras" of Planet Earth. It is where strange and very energetic phenomena happens including UFOs and ETs. And as an energy worker for Mother Gaia, Uluru is one of the places I have been called to..... and well I never been there before because it was always cheaper to travel overseas even outside of peak season in Australia!!!! But sooner or later I just have to bite the bullet, wear the extra expenses, and go to Uluru..... and well, I am getting free flights to and from Uluru which helps a lot in mitigating against the expenses!!!!

As it turned out, my lodgings are yet to be confirmed. Booking through my usual travel app that I use to book all my trips, all of the lodgings are coming up as "sold out"!! Yes even so far in advance!! We are talking about high tourist season!! But evidentally the Conference organiser has a number of rooms set aside, and so when we book through them, we get the discount.... and hopefully the room!! According to the website, there is a three-day turn-around in confirmation. There should be little question that the rooms will be available for the week of the Conference, but I also requested bookings for the week afterwards as I wanted to stay an extra week so to explore the place on my own and perform my energy works at this very intense vortex site!! That extra week could be problematic, though apparently they do have optional programmes for some of that week afterwards so they may still have rooms set aside for that week also..... But it appears I would have to wait until around Wednesday before I get confirmation of my room, a private room with a private bathroom facilities, me being in my very old age in need of creature comforts. My flights are already booked, leaving this isolated little city on January 6 just prior to the Conference over the following weekend, and staying until January 20.

Speaking of travel..... in particular overseas travel..... my trip to South Carolina around September this year is still on. I have nine weeks of Long Service Leave owing to me, so I can afford to take vacation during September and the following January. In fact I am taking more vacation time after Eostre (Easter) weekend in a few weeks, taking an extra couple of weeks this May. I will be going somewhere then too, though not sure yet, but it be within the State, or no further than within Australia. And May is outside of peak holiday season so shouldn't be any problems in making bookings even at this late stage. And the same for my South Carolina trip, September is outside of their summer peak vacation period in the USA which is June to August, especially July. September is outside the peak but the climate should still be warm enough, the trees still green. So I am yet to make bookings, this will be done by around May/June, and it is certain to be cheaper than Uluru even with paying for the air tickets - have to build up my Frequent Flyers points again, which won't take long!!!! It only took me since 2016 to build up my current points, and I hadn't always flown with this particular airline, so even then I still able to build up sufficient points - of course these days you get extra points from grocery shopping, petrol, and even using certain credit cards. It really is worthwhile getting onto these points programmes, especially a frequent traveller like me, being such a very nomadic soul.....

Meanwhile about to deal with another transport-related issue now that Mercury's retrograde is over..... request a new public transport card since during Mercury's retrograde my old card had began showing signs of malfunction. Then when the new card comes, to book my car in for a very much overdue service which is certain to include the need for new brakes.

This week is destined to be a momentous week for other reasons...... tomorrow my Chakra Dance session for the Crown chakra. And on Thursday, to mark the 4/4 day, the 4th day of the 4th month of the Roman year, I will be at the Merkabah Activation session.... and the day off work on Friday.

Now continuing to explore the new walk trails up in the hills that I recently discovered on the Trails WA website.... and looking for more vortexes. There are a lot of vortexes and energy spots up in the hills with all those granite rock formations. And y'all know I love my walking, especially in the forests up in the hills. So this past weekend explored another trail, about 5kms, and near one of the dams. Evidentally there might be another vortex there. There are many more new trails yet to be explored by me over these next few weeks. There are a lot of walk trails in and around Perth. There are several new trails around Perth yet to be explored, and I thought I knew all of the trails!! But at this time, just concentrating on the trails in the hills to the east of Perth, and these days with our new highway system, it is easy and quick to get to the hills from my abode. I remember years ago, back in my childhood, it would take a while to get to the hills for our picnics, the highlight of an overwise tormenting childhood with Chiron in my 2nd House. But nowadays we get there in half the time with all those new highways, and with Chiron back in my 2nd House, things are a lot better this time around.

Weevil Reality Check

Oh I am so happy..... those Weevils being given a massive reality check!!! My new batch of Weevil voodoo dolls must have worked!! And it wasn't just a narrow loss either, it was a massive beating, some 44 points!! Yee haa!!!! I am so happy, it even overshadows those bloody hopeless Magpies!!! Grrrrrrr..... I will never pick them again!!! How hopeless can you get!!! Arrrgh!!!!..... but at least my decision to NOT pick the Weevils when everyone else did is vindicated, even if it was because I simply could not bring myself to pick the Weevils!!! I sorta "knew" they would lose..... I sorta knew the Magpies would lose too, but unfortunately I put loyalty over gut feeling!! Never again!!!! Magpies will be hopeless this year!!! But oh those Weevils..... they were so cocky, so sure of themselves, thinking all they needed to do to win was simply just turn up at the Gabba against those "lowly" Lions.... haaaaa..... Weevil fools!!!! It was one of the biggest losing margins of the round, I think only the hapless Bombers and the Kangaroos lost by a greater margins, I can't remember if I picked them Bombers or not, but it was a mute point cos... well..... poor ole Bombers..... But those bloody Magpies should have won!!!! They failed me!!! They let me down!! Grrrrrrrrr...... remind me NOT to pick them again!!!! But back to those bloody Weevils..... their big loss mean they be right down near the bottom of the ladder in the first round, indeed 3rd from the bottom...... well better get those Weevil voodoo dolls out, and make sure they stay near the bottom, never to rise again!!!! Will show those cocky Weevils a thing or two!!!!

Brisbane Lions versus Weevils.....

So what will next week bring..... uhhhh those Magpies against the Tigers. Not a bloody hope in Hell. If they can't beat the Cats, they'll certainly never even get close to the Tigers. I think they're one of the flag favourites for this year. So loyalty out the window, going to pick the Tigers for this one..... it's going to be a very long Magpie year this year...... I think I'll disown them.... grrrrrr..... Bombers against the Saints.... well after such a big loss, I can't see them getting up against those Saints, trying to be optomistic but it's not working, it be the Bombers who will need divine help. And as for those cocky Weevils, well they're at home against the Giants coming off a big win..... they may ease up a bit after such a big win..... but nah.... can never bring myself to pick the Weevils, even at home base.

I can't remember who I picked.... aside from the foolish decision to pick the Magpies, and my wise decision to NOT pick the Weevils..... so won't know until next week where I stand in our comp..... see whether the curse of Chiron is still in force as Chiron moves into my 2nd House, or whether I can actually overcome the curse of Chiron..... I never won prize money since Chiron entered my 1st House, around Mother's death......

Meanwhile back at the ranch......

The curse of old age strikes again..... I recently have been having issues with my eyes, or in particular, my left eye just weeks after I had my eyes checked for new glasses. I had been seeing spots intermittently, popping in and out on occasions, and I knew they're were not ghosts nor other paranormal phenomena. I often see ghosts, spirits, ET, etc, and they sometimes appear as orbs of light or "shadows", so I know the difference between the paranormal and physical defects in the eye!!! And those "spots" and "flashes" that I began to see on occasions were not ghosts!!! I also have a lot of "floaters" in my left eye, which added to my self diagnosis.

And of course being a Virgo, I think the worse..... that these spots and flashes can indicate retinal ruptures leading to retinal detachment. Adding to my already Virgoan anxiety, I know someone from my dance sessions who recently experienced a retinal detachment, she was rushed to ER and they managed to save her sight. So I was thinking I should go back to the eye clinic.

But also being a Virgo, I hesitated in seeking  an appointment at the clinic. It was the same when I was experiencing a heart attack back in 2015, going about my normal routines with chest pains for 24 hours thinking it was just something I ate. I mean there is a reason why indigestion is known as "heart burn", the stomach is located near the heart, so pains from the stomach is very often in the chest. So that is what I thought it was, blissfully unaware that I was literally a heartbeat from cardiac arrest and an early trip back to Taygeta!!! It was only after 24 hours when I began to think.... um.... I don't think indigestion would be lasting THIS long.... before I phoned for advice.... only to be promptly placed in the back of an ambulance under priority one to the hospital..... and the rest, as they say, is history.

So am I about to make the same Virgo mistake with my eye, well though not life threatening, it is sight threatening, retinal detachment can lead to blindness in the affected eye, which is almost worse than dying.

Well no..... I finally decided to make an appointment at the clinic this past week..... being half prepared for a trip to the hospital if they find retinal ruptures in the eye. So they thoroughly tested my eyes, they put eye drops in my eye to dilate my pupils so he could have a deeper look into my retina. Then after 30 minutes of the eye drops taking effect, he shone this really bright light into my eyes, practically blinding me temporarily, and spend several minutes in each eye searching for any nasties.

I am happy to say that he found no evidence of retinal ruptures in my eyes. So why all this shit happening with my left eye? Well.... the curse of old age!!! The Optomerist explained it really well to me, pointing to the diagram of the eye on the wall. He said, apparently there is a layer in the retina, and with old age, the layer becomes more brittle, causing bits to break off, hence the "floaters" in my eye. These breaking off of the bits also causes the spots and flashes in the vision, that just comes and goes on occasions. In a small number of instances, the breaking off of these bits can create ruptures in the retina, leading to retinal detachment. This would then be an immediate trip to ER, cos the sooner the retinal detachment is fixed, the greater is the chance to save your sight.

The guy also explained that things should start settling down with the eye over the next few weeks, but meanwhile, he said for me if things start getting worse, or I start seeing dark "curtains" covering my vision then I am to get my arse immediately to the clinic, don't bother making an appointment, and someone would see me immediately, and make immediate arrangements for the trip to ER. So hopefully this won't happen, but now my mind is very much at ease, knowing what to expect, and what actions to take if need be....... oh such is the curse of old age!!!! Those spots can be bloody disconcerting but at least it is apparently a normal and usually harmless part of the process, and my eyesight would normally not be affected. In other words, I won't be going blind anytime soon!!

One of the last questions I asked is, why all this shit is happening with my left eye, not my right? The guy said, it is how it usually happens, and indeed it is just a matter of time before this shit start happening with my right eye!!!! Thanks for the warning!!!

Oh they guy also tested me for Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and other shit that can happen with old age, or not-so-old age..... and still am all clear on those counts. It what he did last time when I gotten new glasses, they also test for these common nasties. So at least my eyes are in good hands!!

Meanwhile..... I have booked vacation time for Eostre (Easter) and the following week and a half. I do have travel proposals for that time, at least local travel proposals, but will not be making any decisions nor making any bookings until after Mercury's retrograde. My pesky ruling planet Mercury is currently in retrograde, which usually means, catastrophes are likely to happen. So far there hasn't been any major catastrophes, just minor issues. But one should not make travel plans nor spend large sums of money during Mercury's retrograde. And since my chart shows a retrograde Mercury in exact conjunction with the Sun, the effects of Mercury's retrograde is more intense for me, so I have to be more careful. Mercury's retrograde ends later this week..... so next week should be safe for me to start making more concrete travel plans and making bookings. Of course I have my South Carolina trip set for September, haven't made any bookings yet, will probably do so around May/June. Then am considering going to Uluru in January next year. I may be a world traveler but I had never been to Uluru in our very own "back yard". Vacations in Australia is more expensive than vacations overseas hence why I have been primarly going overseas for my vacations!!! But Uluru is a major energy vortex of Mother Gaia, and I am being called to Uluru as part of my calling, my energy works for Mother Gaia, so I do need to go there. And I have enough frequent flyer points with an airline to get me to Uluru and back again. There are no direct flights to Uluru from Perth, you have to go all the way to Sydney or Melbourne then fly from there, so the air tickets are very expensive, comparable to air tickets to the west coast of the USA, indeed flying to the USA is often cheaper than flying to Uluru!!!! But since I now have enough frequent flyers points, well this will mean practically free air travel to Uluru - except for the taxes, airport fees, etc, these still has to be paid, but at least the air tickets would be free.

That Time Of Year...... Again !!!!

Last week gotten an email on my work email account with an invite to join the office football tipping competition for 2019....... I was thinking at first.... Sheeze that is a bit early..... until I realised the first match of the AFL season begins NEXT Thursday!!!! Sheeze time flies!!!! And I hadn't even had time to make up a new batch of Weevils voodoo dolls!!!!

Oh no need for reminders of the catastrophe that was the 2018.... who could bloody well forget it!!! Being beaten by those bloody Weevils in a Grand Final. This I will never get over it for as long as I live. I would not have minded so much if it was the Bombers, or Carlton, or Richmond, or even the Freo Dockers...... but the bloody Weevils!!!!! What henious sin have I committed in a past lifetime to justify such a heavy punishment as being beaten by the Weevils in a Grand Final? Must have been all those China men I have killed!!!!

Now this is war...... Weevils war...... they be so sure of themselves, they'll never shut up..... so putting out an urgent order for Weevils voodoo dolls. True enough the last batch didn't work very well, but perhaps new voodoo technologies may be the edge that I will need..... but first have to get hold of these Weevil voodoo dolls before next Saturday night when they play the Lions in the land of the banana benders.

This time last year I was in Mexico, and due to time zone differences, I missed out on the first match when it came to entering my tips. So already one game down from the beginning I never really stood a chance, and the curse of Chiron in Pisces made for a catastrophic year where I spent a long time at position 21 in the 21-player competition!!!.... until I managed to get off the bottom in the last few weeks, denying me even the boobie prize!!!!

This time however..... well Chiron is now out of Pisces, so just perhaps the curse of Chiron may be over..... but then Chiron is now in Aries, which previously heralded the eight years of poverty....... It is always difficult to tip the teams in Round 1, but I just cannot bring myself to tip the Weevils against the Lions despite the latter finishing near the bottom last year. Of course everyone here will pick the Weevils...... me, waiting on my supply of Weevil voodoo dolls, will hope that they will have Premiership hangover and be drained by the long flight to Brisbane......

Meanwhile the Maggies on a Friday night match against the puddy Cats...... well they say cats often trumps birds, but ever hopeful that the sharp beaks of the Maggies will prevail for a first-up win.... As for the other matches, pretty well anyone's guess..... The Bombers may find it difficult on their first-up road trip to the land of the Giants..... while we wait with bated breath of what the Dockers will do against the Skippies, will it be yet another Dockers flop year?

Other questions..... Will the Tigers get the attack of the Blues? Will there be Power yielded over the Demons? How will the Hawks fare in the land of the Crows? Will those Bulldogs make mince meat out of Swans? And will the Saints have their day in the Sun or will they be Sun-burned alive?

Now on other less world shattering subject matters......

Today is St Patricks Day which I do not celebrate. The legend of St Patrick is he drove the snakes out of Ireland. However, Ireland is like New Zealand, there has never been snakes in Ireland. The "snakes" referred to in the legend are Pagans that previously was the dominant religion of the land before them Christians came along, as symbolised by St Patrick. Although most faiths, religions and cultures revere the snake, eg as the creative force of Mother Gaia in Mayan legend, Christianity is one of a small few religions where the snake is universally condemned as a sign of evil. As we all know that story in the garden of eden, when the "serpent" often interpretated as a snake talked Eve into eating that forbidden fruit thus condemning mankind to a fate of pain, suffering and torment. The devil is symbolised often as a snake. And the Pharisees, the Jewish Sanhedrin who opposed Jesus were at times referred to by Jesus as "snakes". Therefore it doesn't take much to imagine that the "snakes" in the legend of St Patrick refers to Pagans who naturally opposed the spread of Christianity in the island hence were banished by the superior war technology of the Romans as led by the Roman Catholic Church - hence were "driven into the sea". And you're asking why we should be celebrating St Patrick's Day?????....... I rest my case.

Meanwhile.... thus week on Thursday we have the Equinox, Autumn here in the Southern Hemisphere, therefore we celebrate Mabon the Fall holiday of the Pagans. That is one day I will be celebrating..... or mourning as it being the end of summer, my favourite season of the year. Now the mornings are getting darker on my commute to work, and soon will be the rain, and the freezing cold of winter...... when my Seasonal Affective Disorder will kick in, as it does every year.

Also on Thursday is the Jewish holiday of Purim, the story of how a Jewish Princess saved the Jews from certain destruction at the hands of the Persian Empire. The story of Purim found in the book of Esther in the Bible, the only book in the bible where there is no direct references nor mentions of God. The story simply recounts a series of extraordinary coincidences which conspired to save the Jews despite overwhelming odds against the military superiority of the Persians. One could say, the story of Purim is proof of the saying - There is no such creature as "coincidence". It is said the reason why the story of Purim contains no reference to God is because the story is set in a time period after the destruction of the 1st Jewish Temple and before the 2nd Temple was built. The Jews regarded the Temple as where they meetup with God, hence while the Temple was there, God was also there. But since the Temple was destroyed, the Jews felt that God was no longer there, and they could not get in contact with God. Nevertheless He was still there, in all of those coincidences......
